English Academic Preparation

Univaf English Academic Preparation is an intensive language program for students who do not meet the language requirements for their admission to a degree program. The main goal of the program is to help students begin their degree program as soon as possible.

Univaf English courses focus on

– Academic English language skills to communicate effectively in spoken and written contexts

– Strategies to read academic materials and take notes more efficiently

– Guidelines for common assignments in undergraduate courses such as academic presentations and essay writing

– Listening comprehension

– Oral communication skills for undergraduate and graduate studies

Based on your Cambridge English Placement Test (CEPT) result, Univaf English Academic Preparation program is divided into four categories

Proficiency – 4 week

Intermediate – 8 week

Pre-Intermediate – 12 week

Elementary – 16 week
